Angela Wolf Pattern Collection

The Tailor's Clapper is the perfect and must have pressing tool for every sewing room.  As seen on It's Sew Easy TV, Angela Wolf uses this tool for everything from pressing up hems, creasing pants, pressing seam allowances open, even pressing knit fabrics.  All you need is a little steam and press the area with the clapper for perfect pressing.  Made in Michigan, USA.

I am very picky about my sewing and pressing tools.  These clappers have been custom made to my specifications using the finest hardwood available.  Enjoy!  xoxo Angela

    This tailor’s clapper is awesome!

I’ve been wanting the tailor’s clapper for a long time and finally bought it since I am making more clothing now! I used it also on a pillowcover I made out of a thicker canvas fabric and it was great for helping get my seams flatter. Looking forward to using it more!

Wonderful addition to my sewing tools. I’ve already used it with success and imagine that as I continue to use it, I will get even better at it. I highly recommend the clapper, no matter what you sew this is a great tool for pressing (seams).

    Clapping for My Clapper!

Posted by Margie on 25th Aug 2018

I had been looking for a while for a clapper. I made a pair of slacks that needed pressing and did not want pressing marks. I got my clapper quickly and it is lovely,

    Clap for the Clapper

I had never used a clapper before so I thought I would try it. I can't believe what a difference it really does make. Seams stay in place.

    Excellent Quality

I had never even heard of a tailor's clapper until I took one of Angela's Craftsy classes, but now that I have it I wish I had gotten one much sooner. I could tell from the moment it arrived that it is a beautifully crafted, quality item. Thank you, Angela!

    LOVE my clapper!!

Posted by Trudie DeSanto on 14th Sep 2017

I have watched practically every sewing instruction video Angela has made. She always strongly advises using the best of supplie to produce the ideal product. I watched her always giving her seams a good final press with the clapper. I was skeptical but decided I would give it a try.. I refuse to press anything without my clapper, presses open seams, creases pants perfectly, flattens bulky fabrics, etc. I cannot sew without it..we "sewers" all know the importance of getting a good press for that professionally finished garment.

Great product, it's really smooth and has a good hand feel. I like that it is made from hardwood that was not mass-produced. Very happy with it!!

LOVE IT! Wouldn't be without it!

I purchased this clapper several years ago and must return and tell you again how much I depend upon it! I use it for mitered corners on baby blankets. I also make totes and purses and because I use this tool everything turns out so professional looking. I first heard about clappers when I saw Angela on public broadcasting and she told of the usefulness of this tool. So, not able to afford it yet, I began using a "clapper" that was simply a 2 x 5 x 3/4" block from one of the children's wooden block sets! I was amazed at how nice it made everything. When I had some sewn items sell I bought this one made to Angela's specifications. I have totally fallen in love with the results of using this. It fits my hand well, it is big enough to cover a good area without taking up too much ironing board real estate when not in use. At the time I purchased this I had been sewing for 45+ years and didn't know what I was missing. Thank you, Angela, for such a quality product AND teaching us how to use it to take away that dreaded "loving hands at home" look and give our creations that sharp "I know what I'm doing" look!
