Angela was right when she said "once you have it you will wonder how you ever managed ironing without it". The Clapper is a must have.

Love my clapper. It really makes nice crisp hems. Love the grooves for gripping and the shape of the clapper the wood is smooth and holds the steam wonderfully.. Have been pressing everything ! Thanks Angela for a fabulous tool.

Wonderful tool that I wish I had known about a long time ago. Makes hems and seams so crisp and no need to pin before hemming. It's a time saver and makes pressed clothing look even better.

My clapper is so well made!!! The size, shape, & groove on the sides are all perfect. The wood is gorgeous. I already love using it. I just wish I had bought one sooner.

I started using the clapper as soon as I received it. I was amazed at what adding this step into the pressing routing does! Well worth the time to do as it sets the press extremely well. I did a cover hem on a circular skirt for a clients and it was a breeze to feed through the Coverhem machine without having to worry about pins! Thanks for creating the awareness of this tool for me Angela!

I vacillated between the combination of point press/clapper and am really glad I ordered Angela's clapper. It is the approximate length of the average sole plate which means that once you steam, you are literally covering all your entire work space. I can keep up a rhythm of steam, clap, steam and not miss a beat! It is also small enough to squeeze into small areas of my sewing projects and not be so bulky that it can't remain on the ironing board; within grasp but out of the way! I already have June's Taylor Board (which stores in the cross slat of the ironing board stand- out of the way) and find that it compliments the point press portion beautifully.
